Tully is nearly half way between Townsville and Cairns, the southern gateway to the wet tropics region of Far North Queensland. Mission Beach with access to Dunk Island is only a short drive away from the business center Tully.

The Golf Course of the Tully Country Club is located on the eastern side of the highway with access through Anderson Street.
